The 2026-27 ADP Season begins September 8, 2026 and runs through mid-May 2027. Classes are open for enrollment and will close at capacity.

PATHFINDERS

2nd and 3rd Graders continue on their creative PATH, FINDING their way to the magic of musical theatre. Classes will contain music, movement and storytelling techniques and imaginative, creative play.

Welcome to Story Cycle! Through a series of weekly classes, students devise new musical theatre works that tap into the stories, experiences, and desires of their generation. No prior songwriting experience is required, allowing students at all levels to be led by their willingness to learn and a desire to tell their story.

We'll take a deep dive into dialogue-based work and what it means to share the stage. We'll expand our vocabulary and continue with textual analysis. Contemporary and classic works of the theatre will provide continued exploration of more sophisticated playwrights. For those interested in pursuing Acting beyond high school, audition prep will be a part of class.

PRIVATE COACHINGS
(Grade 2 and older)

Weekly Private Coachings are once per week for the entire ADP year (2 semesters - 31 weeks total including Winter Showing and Spring Showcase). Each coaching is 30 minutes. For a longer lesson, book TWO coachings back-to-back.
Or book a 4-Pack (four one-hour sessions at mutually convenient times for you and your Coach). To book a 4-Pack, email education@lexingtontheatrecompany.org.
Coachings CANNOT be made up if the student has to miss. However, if your Coach has to cancel a lesson, a makeup coaching will be offered. Ensure you are available for the entire year.
Weekly Private Coaching Students have two performance opportunities: Winter Showing (for all Private Coaching Students) and Spring Showcase (Explorers through Artists) or Spring Showing (Voyagers and Trailblazers).

PRE-PROFESSIONAL COMPANY
(Grades 4-12)
Be a part of the premiere training program in musical theatre!
For students in Grades 4-12, this holistic program provides well-rounded training in musical theatre. Triple-train with The Lex in singing, dancing and acting and receive extended instruction and additional performance opportunities.
The Lex Pre-Professional Company offers robust theatre training, within a supportive environment. Students will benefit from this program whether they want to become theatre professionals OR creative, confident, collaborative professionals ready to contribute to any industry.
Auditions for the 2026-27 Pre-Professional Company are complete. Auditions for the 2027-28 Pre-Professional Company will be announced in Spring 2027.

Applications for Full and Partial Scholarships for 2026-27 are accepted on a rolling basis. Students applying prior to August 7, 2026 will be notified by August 21, 2026 if they have received a scholarship or other financial assistance.
